What Is Container Silo?
Container silos, also known as horizontal silos, are distinguished from vertical silos by their horizontal orientation. Because they are laid on their sides, they have relatively lower requirements regarding wind resistance and seismic resistance. In many countries—especially island nations—where local regulations impose strict height restrictions on construction machinery and equipment, storing powdered materials becomes extremely difficult. Container silos provide the perfect solution to this challenge.

SDCAD Your Professional Container Silo Supplier
To reduce your installation costs, our modular container silos are fully assembled before leaving the factory, allowing you to complete installation with only a crane.
Stacking increases your storage container silo volume and doubles storage efficiency.
Ideal for temporary projects or multi-site layouts, they are easy for you to transport and relocate.
Feeding via pneumatic conveying or bulk material trucks eliminates your need for forklifts or manual handling, saving on labor costs.
Backed by thousands of production runs and tests, our optimized dust collectors ensure the entire container silo operates with zero pollution and zero emissions.
As a professional container silo manufacturer, we offer capacities ranging from 35 metric tons to 140 metric tons for you.
Welcome to contact us for your customized solution.
Our Container Silo Type

Volume: 27 cubic meters; Dimensions: 6058 × 2438 × 2591 mm; Shipped as a 20GP SOC container

Volume: 54 cubic meters; Dimensions: 12192 × 2438 × 2896 mm; Shipped as a 40HQ SOC container
The advantage of our Container Silo
our container silo advantages are as follows:

Specifically designed for cement, fly ash, and ground limestone.
Fully welded construction eliminates the need for on-site bolted connections

The modular container-style design enables rapid installation at ports and terminals, allowing for immediate operation.

The fully enclosed storage system reduces dust emissions during loading, unloading, and transshipment.

Ensuring stable and reliable operation
Siemens PLC, Schneider Electric components, ABB motors, SICOMA screw conveyors
Containerized for Easy Shipping
During transport, the container silo is shipped as a standard container and it can be transported by rail, road, or sea. Secured with twist locks at the top and bottom, the container silo ensures it does not shift position, eliminating the hassle of unloading goods from the container and reduce your transportation cost. If you wish to increase storage capacity, we have included a top loading port, allowing you to stack additional containers on top to expand storage volume and this way cannot increase the footprint area.

Fast Installation & Deployment
Compared with traditional silos, no advance foundation work is required on-site; you simply need to ensure the ground is properly paved. Once the container silo arrives, just connect it to a three-phase power source, and it’s ready to use. The container silo is completely assambled before leaving the factory and you do not need assemble it. The container silo allows you to avoid the cost of preparation and reduce project preparation time extremely. Container silo is easy to disassemble that it is convenient for you to move on to the next project.

What Our Client Say
Container silos are suitable for storing cement, fly ash, lime powder, mineral powder, bentonite, dry-mix mortar, and other bulk powdered materials.
Standard capacities typically range from 35 to 140 metric tons, and custom capacities can also be provided based on specific project requirements.
They are transported directly as SOC (Shipment in Container) units at no additional cost.
Silos can be loaded pneumatically from bulk tank trucks or via a conveyor system connected to a big bag unloading station.
Material is typically unloaded via a screw conveyor installed at the discharge port; a bulk head can also be added to prevent dust spillover.
In most cases, a level ground surface is sufficient.
Thanks to its modular design, installation can usually be completed within a few hours, enabling rapid project deployment.

Telescopic chuteThe telescoping discharge chute is specifically designed for the efficient and dust-free loading of bulk materials onto trucks. Its adjustable length allows for precise positioning during loading, minimizing material spillage. Installed at the discharge outlet of a container silo’s screw conveyor, it prevents dust from escaping and ensures dust-free loading.
Pneumatic Conveying SystemOur pneumatic conveying system works in conjunction with container silos to store materials and transport them. The system is typically installed at the feed end of a container silo to feed powdered material from ton bags into the container silo. It can help you significantly improve the efficiency of material transportation.
Big Bag SiloBulk powdered materials are initially supplied in big bags and unloaded into big-bag silos via a bag-discharge system. The material is then transferred to containerized silos via screw conveyors or pneumatic conveying systems for large-capacity storage. This combined solution ensures a stable supply of materials and reduces manual labor.
How to Feed a container Silo?
Depending on the material supply and site conditions, there are several methods for filling a container silo. The most common method is pneumatic conveying, in which bulk powdered material is transported by tanker truck and blown directly into the silo through a feed pipe. In addition, inclined or vertical screw conveyors, pneumatic conveying systems, and bag-opening machines can be used to transfer material from big-bag silos to the container silo.
How to Unload a container Silo?
Container silos are typically unloaded using a screw conveyor installed at the discharge outlet. When material is needed, the screw conveyor transports the stored powdered material (such as cement, fly ash, or mineral powder) from the silo to packaging machines, mixers, powder tank trucks, and other equipment.
